TPAM (Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama) is on from 9th to 17th Feb!
TPAM is…
① A performance program which displays the latest trends of performing arts of Asia and the world.
② An exchange program where hundreds of stakeholders of Performing Arts & Culture Organizations, festivals, and stage performance gather from across the world.
③ A public program which becomes a chance for new Japanese artists to develop new audiences and get deals for overseas performance.
It’s an international performing arts platform consisting of these 3 aims; a few in the world and the only in Japan. Started out in 1995 as “Arts Fair” in Tokyo, this is the 23rd event and 9th after the relocation of venue to Yokohama. In “TPAM Direction”, a performance created with the collaboration of directors from various backgrounds, many projects, and works are listed which reflects the latest trends of performing arts in Asia and worldwide.
