メディアインスタレーション作品『crt mgn』が第17回文化庁メディア芸術祭アート部門を受賞した記念として、
Carsten Nicolai (alva noto) – カールステン・ニコライ (アルヴァ・ノト)によるライブを開催致します。
Carsten Nicolaiは既に世界各国の美術展や国際展にて活躍しているワールドワイドで有名なアーティストです。
実験音楽をはじめ、自然と科学への興味から空間・光・音を探求する斬新な作品を数多く発表してきました。

今回の受賞記念イベントとして、映像作品を背景に、Carsten Nicolaiが音楽活動を行ってきた
名称「alva noto」としての側面も堪能出来るオーディオ・ビジュアル・パフォーマンス”univrs uniscope”を開催致します。
プロジェクター３台を使用したワイドスクリーン上で、音声信号をリアルタイムで映像信号に変換する刺激的で圧巻の世界をご堪能頂けます。
今や世界を代表するメディア・アーティスト、Carsten Nicolai(alva noto)の映像と音が織りなす
創造性溢れる空間を体感出来る絶好の機会となります。

This concert by Carsten Nicolai (Alva Noto) is held to commemorate his media installation piece “crt mgn” has awarded the grand prize in art division of the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival.

Carsten Nicolai is well known all over the world with his works through international exhibitions and prizes.

Not just experimental music, he releases many innovative arts about spaces, lights and sounds inspired by nature and sciences.

As to commemorate his prize, we present his audio-visual performance “univrs uniscope” by his music project name “alva noto”.

With a wide screen and three video projectors, you will experience his massive and stimulative world of video projection, which is generated in real-time by converting sound signals.

This is a golden opportunity to experience the creative space of visuals and sounds by the world famous artist Carsten Nicolai (alva noto).
